Hi! My name is Maddie and I was born in Toronto, Canada to Nelly Furtado, Avril Lavigne and down-parkas. Music was a lifeline for me as I navigated my small world of school, gossip and anxiety-- frequently writing songs about being a misunderstood tween with a dream <3.
In the summer of 2019 I connected with LA based writer/production group LIONCHLD (Britney Spears, Bebe Rexha) and together we made “SALT,” “OUR HOUSE,” and “EGO” which featured on my debut EP ‘MISS REGENT,” which was release in the fall of 2021. Since that release, ‘EGO’ had it’s viral moment on Tik Tok. It is currently at over 1 million streams across all platforms- and counting.
After finishing the emotional pop ballad “Heavy Little Things” -I took time to develop my sound with my boyfriend and collaborator Cade Hoppe. I released my second EP, “Girl of your dreams” in December 2023. Featuring the single ‘ruining’, which was placed on Spotify’s “It’s a bop” playlist, and “Buy her a drink” which had received over a quarter million streams across platforms.
In 2024 I set out to create an album with Cade, and the first single of that project will release in August.
